Your Complete Guide to Purchasing and Deploying Microsoft Dynamics NAV
There are a number of options available that can help in purchasing and deploying the Microsoft Dynamics NAV. However, each option may have its own pros and cons, making it difficult for you to choose the best that suits your business and processes.
But, are you aware of the different options to purchase and deploy the software? Well, there are basically three ways, on premise, cloud, and hybrid.
- On Premise – It is the most traditional way to purchase and deploy the Microsoft Dynamics NAV. There are a number of reasons why companies choose an on-premise way. Whether a company wants to own the software or want to run on their internal system and servers, on premise is the best available option. Moreover, most of the companies are familiar with only the on premise so they feel more comfortable working with it. However, you need to know that the responsibility for the maintenance of the system depends entirely on the user. This may include updates, upgrades, cybersecurity, back-ups, patches, and more.
- Cloud – With this option, your software will be running on servers in the cloud and nothing will be on premise. A cloud services provider (CSP) will maintain the system including the updates, upgrades, and patches. Apart from this, you will be paying a fixed monthly fee without any upfront cost.
- Hybrid – This is rapidly becoming the most popular option to purchase and deploy the Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Hybrid means that some of your applications will run on premise and some in a cloud. However, it is totally your choice to choose the application that you want to run on a cloud or on premise.
Every option has its own benefits. However, you can choose the one that best suits your personal preferences and unique requirements.
